Okara Art Limited offers images from all aspects of African- American life, history and culture because of an apparent dearth of such images in the clipart marketplace. Of what we have seen, most clipart depicting Blacks tend to be hackneyed, unsophis- ticated or obsolete.
 
Our aim is to correct this state of affairs by producing innovative, illustration-quality images for the discriminating desktop designer. At the same time, we understand the legacy of traditional clip artwork, a continuing need for simply executed images such as our Business series of female business women which are pure "line" drawings with no middle tones. In the near future, we hope to begin anima- ting these simple figurative images with verve.
